Mr. Donald Lee Darby, 62, of Dyersburg, TN died Friday, April 08, 2011 at his residence in Dyersburg. He was a member of Sorrells Chapel Methodist Church and a Veteran of the United States Navy and served as Boatswains' Mate Third Class. Services will be Sunday, April 10, 2011, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Bro. John Lowrance officiating. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, April 09, 2011 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife Brenda Gray Darby of Dyersburg; one daughter Kimberly Jane Webb and husband Steve of Ripley; three step-daughters, Tammy Jackson, Christy Epperson and husband Bubba both of Dyersburg, and Pamela Rudd and husband Ricky of Wardell, Mo; one son, Stephen Wade Darby of Lexington; two sisters, Betty Hutson and Lorie Hollingsworth of Dyersburg; Six Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mallie and Birdie Plunk Darby; and three brothers, Gerald Darby, Billy Darby, and Tommy Darby. Pallbearers will be George Rice, Roger Rice, Danny Moore, Billy Paul Hogan, Ricky Rudd, and Kenneth Neal. Honorary Pallbearers will be Buddy Griffin, Bill Garner, and Bubba Epperson.
