Daykota Shyanne Volner

Ms. Daykota Shyanne Volner, 10, of Dyersburg, TN died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at LeBonheur Childrens Medical Center in Memphis. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her mother, Amanda Volner Hipps of Dyersburg; step-father, Tim Hipps of Halls; sisters, Dentiny Danyell Scott and Rebecca Kaye Hipps both of Dyersburg; Grandparents, Evasue Gallahaire of Dyersburg, and Jimmy and Debbie Volner of Tigrett, special aunt and uncle, Gene and Carol Thurmond of Lenox; and cousins Chris Thurmond, Dustin Thurmond, and Dayla Thurmond all of Lenox. She was preceded in death by her Great-Grandparents Jack and Frances Gallahaire and Cecil and Alline Volner. The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
