Ted Franklin Ennis

Mr. Ted Ennis, 64, of Tiptonville, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at his residence. He worked as a correctional officer for Northwest Tennessee Correctional Facility. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Southerland officiating. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors Friday September 23, 2011 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Curry Funeral Home in Ridgely. Survivors include his wife, Jean Gurien Ennis of Tiptonville; one daughter, Gina Edgin Powell of Dyersburg; three sons, Jason Ennis, Heath Ennis, and Tony Edgin all of Dyersburg; three sisters, Carolyn Garrison of Murry, Ky., Shelia Harris and Marilyn Waits both of Henning, Tn., one brother, Eddie Ennis of Paris, Tn.; and one grandchild, Matt Powell of Dyersburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gentry Ennis and Wava Perry Evans.
