Edward Leon Bane

Mr. Edward Leon Bane, 86, of Finley, TN died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was a farmer and a member of Cornerstone Church of God. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday November 28, 2011 in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Bro. O. L. Hart and Bro. Dakota Owsley officiating. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens in Dyersburg. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors on Sunday evening, November 27, 2011 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include three sons, Wayne Bane of Finley, Tommy Bane of Dyersburg, and Lanny Bane of Finley; two brothers Joe Don Bane of St. Louis, Mo. And Billy Joe Bane of Dyersburg; five grandchildren , Melissa Bane, Amy Bane, Bradley Bane, Lanny Bane Jr., and Whitney Bane; and five great-grandchildren, Colton Bane, Zack Hendricks, Tyler Hendricks, Alyvia Hendricks, and Brayden Bane. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fairy Jean Reagor Bane; his parents, Thomas and Zella Littles Bane; a daughter, Paula Jean Bane; two sisters, Barbara McNeely and Mary Geneva Weatherly; two brothers, C. B. Bane and Homer Bane and one grandchild Lauren Bane. Pallbearers will be Don Smith, Neil Lewis, Jimmy Hester, Pat Worrell, Colby Kimbrell and Lanny Bane Jr. The family requests that memorials be directed to Cornerstone Church of God.
