Austin "Tex" Seratt

Mr. Austin "Tex" Seratt, 67, Newbern, TN died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Jackson Regional Hospital. Mr. Seratt was a retired truck driver and a member of Evansville Free Holiness Church. Funeral services will be at 1pm Wednesday, December 14, 2011 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Mac Daniels. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement Pallbearers will be Scotty McGuire, Ricky Doss, Lynnlee Vires, Ollie Conder, Glen Bargery and Buddy Hill. The Seratt family will receive visitors Tuesday, December 13th from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife Donna Seratt of Newbern, 1 daughter, Veronica Reasons of Dyersburg, 2 sons, Kevin Shane Seratt of Newbern, Dustin Seratt and wife Shelley of Dyersburg, 3 sisters, Willie Jo Brawley and husband Robert of Paducah, KY, Janet Stallings of Dyersburg, Jerry Wade and husband Mike of Lexington, KY, 2 brothers, George Haynes and wife Vicki of Fowlkes, Mike Haynes of Dyersburg and 2 grandchildren, Ava Lauren Seratt and Hunter Reasons. He was preceded in death his parents, Opal and Quinton Haynes and Willie Raymond Seratt. The family requests memorials be directed Evansville Free Holiness Church.
