Mrs. Mattie E. (Putman) Donaldson, 89, of Romeoville, IL formerly of Dyersburg died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Lemont Nursing and Rehab in Lemont, IL. She was a homemaker. Funeral services for Mrs. Donaldson will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, December 18, 2011 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Pallbearers will be Tony Novak, Scott Strnad, Ronnie Johnson, Eddie Hicks, Larry Putman, and Kevin Joslin. The Donaldson family will receive visitors Sunday morning from 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She is survived by 2 daughters, Carolyn Novak and husband Ted, Debra Salerno and husband Anthony, 1 son Richard Donaldson and wife Carolyn, all of Romeoville, IL and 1 brother Jerry Paul Putman of Dyersburg, TN, 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years Edward S. Donaldson, 1 son William Donaldson and her parents Richard and Florence Pylant Putman.
