Mary "Doll" Lewis

Mrs. Mary "Doll" Lewis, 82 of Tiptonville, TN died January 3, 2012 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, TN. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Tiptonville. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Tiptonville conducted by Reverend Jerry Leggett. Interment will follow in Tiptonville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Mitchell, Todd Mitchell, Tim Beeler, Robert Vaughn, Evan Jones, Larry McCain and Tommy Bramlett. The Lewis family will receive friends beginning at 12 Noon until service time Friday at the church. She is survived by two daughters Shirley Mitchell and husband Bill of Hornbeak, Gloria Albright of McKenzie, TN, one sister Doris Vaughn of Dyersburg, three grandchildren Todd Mitchell of Venice, FL, Tim Beeler of McKenzie and Andrea Anderson of Creal Spring, IL and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Lewis and Herman Gray, two sisters Lona Burton and Ruby Capps, one brother Robert Rhodes, her parents John Martin and Blanche Rhodes and one great-granddaughter.
