Mr. Kevin Shane Seratt, 38, of Newbern, TN died Wednesday, January 04, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg. He was a 1991 graduate of Dyer County High School. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday January 9, 2012 in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Jaco officiating. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens in Dyersburg. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors on Sunday afternoon, January 8, 2012 from 2 until 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include his mother, Donna Garrison Seratt of Newbern; one brother, Dustin Seratt and wife, Shelley of Dyersburg; one niece, Ava Lauren Seratt; and one nephew Hunter Dale Reasons both of Dyersburg. He was preceded in death by his father, Austin "Tex" Seratt. Pallbearers will be Daniel Garrison, Jordan Saylor, Josh Dodson, Caleb Dodson, Steve Bargery, and Scott Bargery. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Bivens, Tyler Gamble, Rusty Saylor, Phillip Harris, Jeff Gamble, Dwayne Dodson, and Chip Cain.
