Mary Jackson Pride

Mrs. Mary Jackson Pride, 82, of Richwoods, TN died Sunday, January 08, 2012 at Dyersburg Manor. She was a member of Evansville Baptist Church and retired from Colonial Rubber. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Danny Griffin. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Keenan Greer, Brian Pride, Adam Pride, Denny Pylent, David Hudson and Terry Hudson The Pride family will receive visitors Tuesday, January 10th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Z.E. "Fat" Pride, 3 daughters, Joyce Colson and Kaye Jasin, both of Dyersburg, Cris Starnes of Midlothian, TX, 5 sons, Lester Pride of Newbern, Luthor Pride of McKenzie, C.S. Pride and Justin Lawson, both of Finley, Steven Pride of Dyersburg, 1 sister, Dorothy Purdue of Springville, TN, 2 brothers, Houston Jackson of Portage, IN, Joe Jackson of Gulfport, MS, 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 son, Edwin Pride, 5 sisters, Rachel Partain, Faye Phillips, Bertha Holland, Blanche Pride, Louise Chaffin, 2 brothers James Willie Jackson, J.C. Jackson and her parents, Lester and Mozelle Hudson Jackson. The family requests memorials be directed to LeBonheur Children's Hospital.
