Mrs. Florence Butler Lock, 88, of the Millsfield Community near Dyersburg died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at her residence. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and was retired as the co-owner of Lock's Grocery. During her life Mrs. Lock served as a mother to many children in the MIllsfield Community. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Christ United Methodist Church conducted by Bro. Jerry Edmundson and Bro. Robert Craig. Interment will follow in Hurricane Hill Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Perry "Pee Wee" McQuarters, Billy Hall, Danny Willis, Mike Hopkins, Justin McQuarters, Mike Glozier, Robert Kirby, and Jackie Keeling. Honorary pallbearer will be Kenneth Sawyer. The Lock family will receive visitors Friday, March 30, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church. Survivors include her one brother, David Butler of Dyersburg; nieces; Sandi Greer, Kristie Pierce Ramsey, Audrey Butler, and Hazel Butler; great niece, Karley Butler, nephews; Coy Pierce, Kevin Butler, and Jerry Lock; great nephews; Zack Walton, Joshua Butler, Kade Butler, and Jacob Pope, and a host of special friends who cared for her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Lock; her parents, Lee Butler and Martha Wilson Clifton; and three brothers, Eugene Butler, Paul Butler and Robert Butler; and a nephew David C.
