Mrs. Elaine Seratt, 73, of Dyersburg, TN died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at her residence in Dyersburg. She was a homemaker and a member of Lenox Church of God of Prophecy. A private Memorial service will be held at a later date. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Paul Seratt Sr. of Dyersburg; one daughter, Judy Ann Chastain and husband Frank, of Calhoun, Ga.; four sons, Samuel Paul Seratt Jr. and wife Gina, of Newbern, Tn, David Eugene Seratt and wife Pamela, of Greybull, Wyoming, William J. Seratt of Halls, Tn, and James Alan Seratt and wife Robin, of Dyersburg, Tn.; four sisters, Ardith Cox and husband Tom, of Pisgah, Iowa, Sharon Blankemeyer and husband Kurt, of South Sioux City, Nebraska, Vickie Johnson and husband Gary, of Omaha, Nebraska, and Debra Armbrust and husband Bob, of Omaha, Nebraska; six grandchildren, J Paul Seratt and wife Kimberly, of Laramie, Wy., Alyson Blaire Pollock and husband Thomas, of Dyersburg, Amber Nicole Murchison of Dyersburg, Tn., James Preston Seratt of Dyersburg, Tn.,Rebecca Breana Seratt of Powell, Wy., and Madison Claire Seratt of Newbern , Tn.; three great-grandchildren, Samuel Eli Pollock, Addison Nicole Reddicks, and Preston Lane Seratt; 5 nephews and 7 nieces. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lori Sue Seratt; her parents, Lloyd and Edna Benson; and a brother, Lonnie Benson.
