Billy "Babyrae" Smith

Mr. Billy "Babyrae" Smith, 73, of Ridgely, TN died Friday, May 11, 2012 at his residence in Ridgely. He was a Christian and a retired employee of the City of Dyersburg where he worked for over 26 years. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2012 graveside at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Dewayne Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 14, 2012 at Curry Funeral Home in Dyersburg. Survivors include three sisters, Becky Smith and Annie Johnson both of Dyersburg, and Dorothy Dycus of Brighton; five brothers, Clyde Smith of Newbern, James Smith of McKenzie, Thomas Smith of Samburg, Johnny Smith of Dyersburg, and Wayne Smith of Camden; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Zana Kolwyck Smith; and three brothers, Bobby Smith, Otis Smith, and Odell Smith.
