Jack Nelson, Jr.

Mr. Jack Nelson Jr., 85, of Richmond Va., formerly of Dyersburg died Friday, June 22, 2012 at Manor Care Imperial Plaza in Richmond, Va. He was a World War II veteran, a member of First United Methodist Church, and former Vice President for First Citizens National Bank. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Dr. David Russell officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday June 27, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home. Survivors include a daughter, Mitzi Dempsey and husband Dennis of Midlothian, Va. and one grandson, Bryan Dempsey also of Midlothian, Va.
