Mrs. Jane Baird Viar, 79, of Dyersburg, TN died Saturday, July 07, 2012 at her residence in Dyersburg. She was a homemaker, a lifelong resident of Dyersburg and a member of First United Methodist Church. A private service will be held at a later date. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include one daughter, Katherine Viar Hinson and husband, Ed of Madison, Alabama; two sons, Bert F. Viar III of Dyersburg and John Baird Viar of Harvest, Alabama; one sister, Alice L. Baird of Diamondhead, Ms.; one brother, Dr. Kiem L. Baird and wife, Phoebe, of St. Charles, Mo.; and one granddaughter, Leslie Baird Hinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Houston Keim Baird and Alice Lauderdale Baird.. The family requests that memorials be directed to the Humane Society.
