Mrs. Virginia Louise Pierce, 77, of Dyersburg died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Dyersburg Manor. She was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2pm Friday, August 24, 2012, Graveside at Fairview Cemetery conducted by Brother Johnny Michaels. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her husband Clifton "Ted" Pierce of Dyersburg, 1 son David Pierce of Dyersburg, 2 sisters Hazel Lewis of Jackson, Mary Frances Acor of Huntingdon, 2 brothers Billy Bailey of Huntingdon and James Bailey of Nauvoo Community, 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 sister Opal Malugen, 2 brothers L.V. Bailey and John L. Bailey and her parents L.Z. and Lillie Mae Whithead Bailey.
