Ester Lee Fowler

Ester Lee Fowler, 92, of Finley, died Saturday, September 01, 2012 at Oakwood Community Living Center. She was a member of Independent Free Holiness Church and a homemaker. Funeral services for Mrs. Fowler will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Calvin Smith. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Jamie Fowler, Jason Burns, Justin Walker, Jeff Burns, Kevin Tidwell and Tim Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Johnson and Javier Beltran. The Fowler family will receive visitors Monday, September 3rd from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. She is survived by 1 daughter, Janice Lee Burns of Dyersburg, 1 son, Roy Aldon Fowler and wife Gerene of Finley, 1 sister Christine Fowler of Flint, MI, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Rogers Fowler, 1 great-grandson, Jeffery Blake Burns, 4 sisters, Eunice Churchilll, Anna Mae Viar, Lurlene Reed, Hildred Helpler, 3 brothers, Oscar Odell Joslin, Ferrell Joslin, Homer Joslin and her parents Oscar Lee and Neecie Ethel Mayness Joslin.
