Dallas Eugene -Buddy Humphreys

Dallas Eugene "Buddy" Humphreys, 77, of Tiptonville, TN died Monday, November 12, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was a Baptist and retired farmer. He also served in the Army National Guard. Funeral services for Mr. Humphreys will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, November 15, 2012 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Carl Robert Evans, Jr. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Tommy Stafford, Michael Stout, Carlos Stout, Andy Stout, James Sneed and James Ray Evans, Jr. The Humphreys family will receive visitors Wednesday, November 14th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Survivors include 1 daughter Gloria A. Shaffer of Gulfport, MS, 2 sons, Roy Ray Humphreys of Tiptonville and Ricky Wade Humfress of Bay St. Louis, MS, 3 sisters Betty Joyce Stout of Dresden, Wanda Gail Stafford of Tiptonville, Vicky Clemmens of Ripley, 2 brothers, James Ray Evans of Obion County and Carl Robert Evans, Jr. of Dresden, 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Stout Humphreys, 1 son Danny Eugene Humfress, 2 sisters Marie Hamm and Linda R. Reynolds, 4 brothers Jim Humphress, William Thomas Evans, Paul Dennis Evans, David Harold Evans and his parents, James Reuben Umfress and Clara and Carl Evans.
