Mary Sugg Baker

Mary Sugg Baker, 90, of Dyersburg, TN died Friday, December 7, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a loving aunt and great-aunt. Services will be at 11:00 am, Monday, December 10, 2012 Graveside at Fairview Cemetery with Dr. Larry Blakeburn officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Baker family will receive visitors Monday, December 10, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Survivors include her sister, Teeny Williams of Jackson; a sister-in-law, Margaret Baker of Dyersburg; 3 nieces, Linda Baker of Dyersburg, Amy Smith of Jackson, and Nancy LaPlace of Memphis; 2 nephews, Allen Williams III, of Palm Bay, Florida and Richard Baker of Dyersburg; 9 great-nieces and nephews, Rachel Burton, Joseph Williams, Allen Williams, IV, Elinor Frances Smith, Margaux LaPlace, Trent LaPlace, Maurie Baker McCain, Margaret Baker and Mary Jewels Baker and her beloved Sophie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Richard Baker and Bessie Stone Baker; and her brother, Joe William Baker. Pallbearers will be Eddie Anderson, Albert Fowlkes, Richard Baker, Allen Williams, Eden Smith and Forrest McCain.
