Dearl Damon Dykes

Dearl Damon Dykes, 79, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his residence. He was a farmer and attended Finley Baptist Church. Funeral services for Mr. Dykes will be 11:00 am, Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Charlie Halliburton. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Ronald Moore, Brad Studard, Gordon Ashby, Jerry Brock, Tom Wells and Burless Davis. The Dykes family will receive visitors Wednesday, December 26th from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Brock Dykes of Dyersburg; 1 daughter, Melissa Sue LaBonte and husband Al of Dyersburg; 3 sons, Bobby Darrell Dykes and wife Donna of Dyersburg, Jeffrey Ellis Dykes of Dyersburg and Bryan Brock Dykes and wife Tina of Chapel Hill, TN; 1 sister, Christine Medley of Chesterton, IN, 1 half sister, Rose McLain of Twin Lakes, MI; 1 grandson, Bruce Dykes of PA and 2 granddaughters, Becky Dykes of Memphis and Emily Dykes of Dyersburg.
