Sue F. Adkins

Sue Frances Crews Adkins, 80, of Dyersburg died Monday January 21, 2013 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Facility. Mrs. Adkins was born in Dyersburg on August 28, 1932, raised her family in Chicago, Ill. and upon retiring, returned to Dyersburg in 1995. Visitation for Mrs. Adkins will be Saturday, January 26, 2013, from 9a.m. until service time in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home. Services for Mrs. Adkins will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include six sons, Halbert Adkins Jr., Ronald Adkins, Ricky Adkins, James (Terry) Adkins, Timothy Adkins, and Barry Adkins; two brothers, Hubert Douglas Crews and Jerry Robert Crews; eleven grandchildren, Jeffery Adkins, Jaime Adkins, Cindi Bergman, Ronni Ann Adkins, Kristie Langkan, Joseph Adkins, Ariel Adkins, Aaron Adkins, Teresa Adkins, Danny Adkins, and Michael Adkins; and ten beautiful great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Lightning, along with many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Robert Crews and Suella Savage Crews.
