Billie Jean Smith

Billie Jean Arnold Smith, 64, of Dyersburg died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was assistant manager at Sonic in Newbern, a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, a softball and basketball coach at the Activity Center, and a member of the Dyer County High School Baseball Boosters. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 27, 2013 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church conducted by Reverend Gary Meade. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Thomas Langford, Paul Hollis, Carey Tinkle, Monty Essary, Michael Lord and Joe Purcell. The Smith family will receive visitors Saturday, January 26th from 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home and at 1:00 pm Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the church. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Smith of Dyersburg, 2 daughters Michelle Anderson-Hollis and husband Paul, Alicia Langford and husband Thomas, all of Dyersburg and 4 grandchildren, Jared Anderson, Kailee Anderson, Amelia Langford and Wyatt Langford. She was preceded in death by her parents Noel Milton and Bessie Cordelia Sherbit Arnold.
