Brenda F. Bivens

Brenda F. Bivens, 62, of Dyersburg died Friday, February 1, 2013 at her residence. She attended Finley Baptist Church and was a retired billing clerk for Dyersburg City Hall. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Feburary 4, 2013 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Charlie Halliburton. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be James Bivens, Freddie Bivens, Kenneth Webster, Lowell Tillman, Jay Garza and Chad Jamison. The Bivens family will receive visitors Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband Billy D. Bivens, 1 son David Lee Bivens and wife Laura of Dyersburg and 2 grandchildren Landon Kyle Bivens and Neely Lauren Bivens. She was preceded in death by her parents Neely W. and Hester Hilliard Cook. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Finley Baptist Church, 9 Poplar Street, Finley, TN 38030.
