Evelyn Sue Richard Eldridge

Evelyn Sue Richard Eldridge, 88, of Dyersburg, died Monday, March 11, 2013 at her residence. She was a retired surgical nurse supervisor at Parkview Hospital and a member of Dyersburg Church of God. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Robert Davis and Reverend Bill Phipps. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens in Dyersburg. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Ed Czopkiewicz, Mike Czopkiewicz, Kenneth Hassell, Rob Lentz, Kenneth Raspberry and James Shawver. The Eldridge family will receive visitors Thursday, March 14th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She is survived by 2 daughters, Kattie Czopkiewicz of Chicago, IL, Patricia Vowell and husband Tony of Olive Branch, MS, 1 son-in-law, Jimmy Frazier of Dyersburg, 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husbands Wilson E. Richard and Hansel Eldridge, 1 daughter, Alice Bearden Frazier, 3 sisters, Jessie Kernodle, Audrey Brown, Virginia Rose and 3 brothers, Ivy Ward, Bill Ward and Albert H. Ward.
