Z. E. "Fat" Pride

Z.E. "Fat" Pride, 90, of the Richwoods Community, died Friday, March 15, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was a farmer, carpenter and a Navy Veteran. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Larry Kooch. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Keenyan Greer, Brian Pride, Adam Pride, Scotty Elgin, Daniel Bryson and Robert Jasin. Honorary pallbearers will be Stanley Steep and Don Miller. The Pride family will receive visitors Monday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He is survived by 3 daughters, Joyce Colson and Kaye Jasin, both of Dyersburg, Cris Starnes of Midlothian, TX, 5 sons, Lester Pride of Newbern, Luthor Pride of McKenzie, C.S. Pride and Justin Lawson, both of Finley, Steven Pride of Dyersburg, 1 sister, Judy Moore of Memphis, 1 brother, Gail Pride of Dyersburg, 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mary Jackson Pride, 1 son, Edwin Pride and his parents, Owensby Commodore and Lydia Lottie Wilson Pride.
