Will "Woody" Tate, 52, of Dyersburg died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was a plumber for Turnbo Plumbing and Electric. Funeral services for Mr. Tate will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Mac Daniels. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Haynes, Jason Turnbo, Little David Climer, Randy Lyles, Stanley Eaton, William Climer, William "Bubba" Tate and David Climer. The Tate family will receive visitors Friday, March 22, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Tate of Dyersburg, 1 daughter Melinda Tate of Wisconsin, 1 step-daughter Rebecca Sellers of Dyersburg, 2 sons, William Tate, Jr., of Wisconsin, Steven Tate of Dyersburg, 2 sisters, Frances Turnbo of Dyersburg, Louise Reeves of Parsons, 1 brother George Tate of Newbern and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Shebby Tate, Linda Reeves, 1 brother Sam Tate and his parents Samuel Thomas and Ruth Mai Neil Tate.
