Frances Ward-Dietz

Frances Ward-Dietz, 80, of Dyersburg passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at St. Joseph Manor. Mrs. Dietz was a member of West Side Baptist Church and an avid Rook player. During her active years she was an outgoing, cheerful adventurer who loved to travel. She even tried white water rafting once. Funeral services for Mrs. Dietz will be at 11:00 am Monday, April 8, 2013 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Brother Paul Hogue. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The Dietz family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the funeral home. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be grandsons Mike Ward, Kenny Milan, Jeremiah Ward, Justin Ward, Clint Ward, Chris Lewellyng, and David Lewellyng. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Berry and husband Collie, and Beverley Lewellyng; four sons Kenneth Albert Ward and wife Dianne, Paul Ward and wife Tammy, John Ward and wife Rosemary, and Jeffery Ward all of Dyersburg, one sister, Joyce McCuiston and husband Charles of Finley, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Albert Ward, Jr .and Henry Dietz; her parents Virginia Simpson Flatt and Huey Paul Flatt and one brother Donald Flatt.
