Maxine Richardson Golden Coleman

Mrs. Thelda Maxine (Macky) Richardson Golden Coleman, age 90, of Dyersburg passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Facility. She was born on October 26, 1922 in Lenox, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg. The family will receive visitors Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the services. Services will be at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Curry Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Survivors include three sisters, Arlene (Toodie) Hampton of Dyersburg, Kay Inman King of Marietta, Georgia, and Bobbie Gray of Olive Branch, Mississippi; a brother, R. P. Richardson and wife, Betty of Dyersburg, nieces and nephews Robert Reed, Herman Reed, Tommy Reed, Kathy Richardson Braese, Linda Richardson Dycus, William Paul Campbell, Ann Campbell Foster, Vickie Campbell Thedford, Connie Campbell Wright, Cherry Hampton Dennison, Scotty Hampton, Richie Hopper, Elva Hopper Burks, Billy Freeman Hopper, Wally Hopper, John Hopper, Patricia Inman, Cindy Inman, Elaine Pate Corzine, Lance Gray, Keith Gray, and Kevin Gray; and many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Golden, her parents, Gaston Foy and Elva Killett Richardson, and five sisters, Loretta Richardson, Anna "Ease" Reed, Joyce Reed, Billie Hopper and Floy "Sis" Campbell. Pallbearers will be Herman Reed, Tommy Reed, Robert Reed, William Paul Campbell, Scotty Hampton, Billy Freeman Hopper, Lance Gray and Keith Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Foster, K. W. Dennison, Billy Bob Burks, Richie Hopper, Wally Hopper, John Hopper and Kevin Gray. The family requests that any memorials be directed to McIver's Grant Public Library Building Fund for the Children's Section, 410 West Court Street, Dyersburg, TN 38024, or Memorial Program for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
