Carolyn Burns, 60, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker. Funeral services for Mrs. Burns will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Brother Mac Daniels. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Burns family will receive visitors Friday beginning at 12 Noon until service time. She is survived by her husband Jerry Donald Burns, Sr. of Newbern, 1 daughter Lois Denise Saylors of Newbern, 6 sons Marshall Wade Rice, Tony Gene Rice, James Lee Burns, Jimmy Lee Burns, all of Dyersburg, Scotty Joe Twitty of Lebanon, KS, Jerry Donald Burns, III of Malden MO, 4 sisters Virginia Ann Hindman and Jerry Renia McMillin of Salina, KS, Rosie Luella Walker and Donna Janette Johnson, both of Caruthersville, MO, 3 brothers Lendell Joe Miller of Benton Heights, MI, Mickey Wayne Morris of Caruthersville, MO, Charles Lee Morris o f Bokerton, MO, 5 step-sons, Jerry Donald Burns, Jr., Donald Lynn Burns, Jeffrey Lynn Burns, Ronnie Joe Burns, all of Caruthersville,MO, Billy Ray Burns of Dyersburg, 31 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Ginger Ann Twitty, her brother Claude Daniel Morris and her parents John Henry and James O. Morris.
