Carmack Bennett

Carmack Bennett, 85, of Lenox, TN died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett. He was a member of Phillips Street Church of Christ and an army veteran. Funeral services for Mr. Bennett will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Mr. Andy Brewer. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be church members of Phillips Street Church of Christ. The Bennett family will receive visitors Thursday, April 25th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. He is survived by his brother Arthur Bennett of Newbern and several nieces and nephews. He is was preceded in death by his wife Frances Bennett, 3 sisters, Reba Hopper, Mae Thurmond, Ruth Pope, 2 brothers, Ray Bennett, Earl Bennett and his parents James William and Jennie Countess Bennett.
