Paul Edward Tweedy, Jr., 72, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at King's Daughters and Sons Nursing Home in Bartlett. He was a retired engineer and member of First United Methodist Church. Funeral services for Mr. Tweedy will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 Graveside at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg with Reverend Robert Craig officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Tweedy family will receive visitors Friday, May 17th from 11:00 - 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. He is survived by his son Bob Tweedy and wife, Beth, of Bartlett and 2 grandchildren, Rebecca Tweedy and Kevin Tweedy. He was preceded in death by his wife Freddie May Mitchell Tweedy, 1 brother, Thomas Woodrow Tweedy and his parents Paul Edward Sr. and Ruby Tickle Tweedy.
