Carol Jordan Crumpler, 88, of Dyersburg, died Sunday July 14, 2013 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was a loving mother of two and grandmother of three. She was a housewife, avid golfer, and fierce bridge player who always wanted to win. She loved to help with community and church work. Working in the yard was a tremendous joy to her because it allowed her to enjoy nature's own beauty, especially the birds. She was a sports enthusiast, finding golf, basketball, football, and baseball very exciting. She helped family members develop their playing skills and love of sports by tossing every kind of ball for them to catch and throw back to her. Her God, her family and her friends were the three most important things of her life. She will be sorely missed by her many bridge club friends.
