Mary Alice Walker, 67, of Dyersburg, TN died Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a retired nurse and attended the Holy Hills Baptist Church. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Curry Funeral Home with Brother Calvin Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Dyersburg, TN. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Walker family will receive visitors Monday evening, August 12, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include 2 daughters, Anita Ward and Amy Hill both of Dyersburg; 3 sisters, Ann Smith & husband Joe of Finley, Vickie Bradley & husband Jeff of Newbern, and Barbara Neugass of Palm Springs, CA; 2 brothers, James Carroll & wife Janice of Finley and Robert Daniel Carroll & wife Jewel of Fowlkes; 4 grandchildren, Justin Ward, Clint Ward, Michael Hicks and Craig Hicks; and a special friend, Bobby Qualls. She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Walker; parents, Robert & Lucille Weeks Carroll; and a brother, Paul Carroll.
