Kathleen Fisher Clancy

Kathleen Fisher Clancy, 72, of Ridgely, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at her residence. She was a retired Secretary for Lara Kendall School where she worked for 41 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ridgely. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Ridgely, officiated by Reverend Craig Myrick. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Talmadge Brown, Danny Stover, Lewis Shelton, Howard Todd, Bart Smith and Kevin Massey. Honorary pallbearers will be James "Bubba" Tolar, Brad Keiser, Fred Wortman, Steve Fuzzell, Kenny Seaton and Barry Olhausen. The Clancy family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, August 14th at the church. She is survived by her husband of 48 years Richard Clancy, Sr., 2 daughters Susan Burns and husband Randy of Halls, Christy Hays and husband Tim of Ridgely, 1 son, Richard Clancy, Jr. of Ridgely, her mother Sue Fisher of Ridgely, 1 sister Carolyn Stone of Dyersburg, 4 grandchildren Joey Nance and wife Michelle, Laura Nance, Maghen Clancy, Catherine Clancy and 1 great-grandchild Kayleigh Nance. She was preceded in death by her father Leonard Gaylon Fisher. The family requests memorials be directed to First United Methodist Church or Relay for Life.
