Florence Ann Knox

Florence A. Knox, 97, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Dyersburg Manor. She was the former co-owner of Sue Frances dress shop and a founding member of Holy Angels Catholic Church parish in Dyersburg. Miss Knox was active in the Legion of Mary, which welcomed new members to Holy Angels parish. She was also a Eucharist Minister and member of the Altar Society at Holy Angels. Funeral mass will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Dyersburg. She is survived by her two nieces, Bobbie Knox Echard of Houston, TX, Martha Calabria of Greensboro, NC and one nephew, Vincent E. Knox, Jr. of Winterville, NC. She is preceded in death by her parents Christopher and Anna Knox and her brother Vincent Knox. Cremation services are under the direction of Curry Funeral Home.
