T.E. "Pete" Boatright, Jr.

T.E.(Pete) Boatright, Jr.,92, of Dyersburg died Sunday, September 8, 2013 at his residence . He was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Dyersburg for 70 years, serving as a deacon and faithful member of the Asburn Men's Bible Class. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Curry Funeral Home. Funeral services will at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2013, graveside, at Fairview Cemetery with Dr. Rev. Larry A. Blakeburn officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Mike Boatright, Tommy Boatright, Laura Ann Boatright Maroney, and Randy Boatright. He is survived by his daughter Laura Ann Maroney and husband Sid of Sequim, WA; three sons: Mike Boatright and wife Patricia of Jackson, TN; Randy Boatright and wife Becky, and Tommy Boatright all of Dyersburg, TN; five grandchildren: David Boatright, Keith Boatright, Ryan Boatright, Eric Boatright and Rachel Boatright; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Marie Jeanette Green Boatright; his parents: Ladye Jo White Boatright and Thelbert Earl Boatright, Sr.; and three brothers: Norman Boatright, Jack Boatright, and Frank Boatright.
