Robert "Bob" Smith

Robert (Bob) Roland Smith, 72, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, November 21, 2013 at his residence. He was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Dyersburg and a Mason. Funeral services will be at St. Mary's Episcopal Church Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Gary Meade officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Dyersburg, TN. Pallbearers will be Larry Alford, Thomas Langford, Paul Hollis, Cary Tinkle, Monty Essary, and Billy Buck. Danny Alford will serve as honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Curry Funeral Home and again from 1:00 pm to service time Sunday at St. Mary's. Masonic Rites honoring Bob will be Saturday evening after visitation ends at 6:00 pm. He is survived by two daughters: Michelle Anderson-Hollis and husband Paul Hollis, and Alicia Langford and husband Thomas all of Dyersburg; his father, W.W. Smith of Clarksville, TN; four grandchildren: Jared Anderson, Kailee Anderson, Amelia Langford and Wyatt Langford all of Dyersburg, TN; and, one sister, Linda Alford and husband Larry of Clarksville, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife of forty-two years Billie Jean Smith and his mother Millicent Smith.
