Phillip Hawks, 62, of Finley, TN died Monday, December 9, 2013 at the VA Medical Center in Memphis. He was owner and operator of Hawks Plumbing and Electrical. He was an Air Force Veteran. The Hawks family will receive friends Wednesday, December 11th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, December 12, 2013 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Reverend Lynn Drumwright officiating. Cremation services will follow under the direction of Curry Funeral Home. He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Walton and husband Franky of Dyersburg, Brandy Russell and husband Jewel of Cordova, two sons Phillip Keith Hawks of Finley, Bradley Lee Hawks of Memphis, one sister, Cathy Weaver of Dyersburg, two brothers, Timmy Hawks and Mearle Hawks of Dyersburg, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Hillard and Bunice Hawks, two sisters, Aileen Cravens and Alice Pace and three brothers Charlie Hawks, Ricky Hawks and Bobby Hawks.
