Willard "Grasshopper" Allison, 73, of Hornbeak, TN died Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Union City Manor Health and Rehab. He was truck driver for over 40 years and an Army Veteran. The family will receive friends Friday, December 27th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 28, 2013 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crockett Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Libern Henson, Daryl Thornton, Carl Kennedy, W.C. Hollandsworth, Bennie Long and Steve Peery. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Margaret Allison of Hornbeak, 3 daughters, Tina Cruthis Hindman and husband Randy of Dallas, TX, Susan Henderson and husband Mike and Lori Patterson, both of Hornbeak, 2 sons Willard Allison Jr. of Henning, Bobby Allison and wife Jan of Hornbeak, 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Tanya Carol Allison, his mother Zuvia Pruitt Hinkle, his father, Jim Allison, his sister Ellen Kennedy and his brother Ernie Pruitt.
