Glynn Ray Pettie, 69, of Dyersburg, TN died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Regional Hospital of Jackson. He was a carpenter, an Air Force veteran and a Baptist. . Cremation services are under the direction of Curry Funeral Home. He is survived by two daughters Tammy Tingler of Dyersburg and Cobra Knowles of Locust Grove, GA, his sister Barbara Poteet, half-brother John Petty, both of Dyersburg, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 2 nephews Michael Rigsby of Dyer, Dickie Rigsby and wife Melissa of Dyersburg, a hosts of cousins, great nieces and nephews and close friend Sue Castleman. He was preceded in death by his parents C.B. and Ruby Heathcott Pettie and 2 half-brothers. A graveside service will be held by the family at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery.
