Christine Fisher Golden

Christine Fisher Golden, 85, of Dyersburg died Monday, January 13, 2014 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and WMU Director. She was an avid gardener. The Golden family will receive friends Tuesday, January 14th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Loren Stephens. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jerome Campbell, Andy Campbell, Dale Petty, Jimmy Atchison, Nelson Richards and Dewayne Deal. She is survived by her daughter Susan Golden of Dyersburg. Also remembered are her devoted sitters Gurlie Joslin, Jean Simpson and Yvonne Graves. She was preceded in death by her husband Moody Golden, her brother James W. "Bud" Fisher and her parents Lee Roy and Effie B. Holden Fisher, The family requests memorials be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
