Joanne Hill Brasfield

Joanne Hill Brasfield, 72, of Milan formerly of Dyersburg, died Friday, January 24, 2014 at NHC Health and Rehab in Milan. She was retired from Dyersburg Fabrics Spring Needle Knitting and was a seamstress. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, January 27, 2014 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Reverend Calvin Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Hurricane Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy French, Hunter Reasons, Buddy Johnson, Justin Mancell, Jeremy Mancell and William Hill. The Brasfield family will receive friends Sunday, January 26th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. She is survived by 2 daughters Connie Young and husband Ricky of Dyersburg, Rhonda Smith and husband Tony of Milan, 2 sons Charles Brasfield of Dyersburg, Tommy Brasfield of Baytown, TX, 2 sisters Carlene Lambert of Indiana, Idale Lewis of Newbern, 4 brothers, Buddy Hill of Dyersburg, R.C. Hill of Nashville, Carl Hill and Jimmy Hill of Newbern, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
