Mrs. Reeder J. Binkley, 79, of Dyersburg, died Monday, February 3, 2014 at The Highlands of Dyersburg. She was a retired merchandiser for American Greetings at Walmart. She was an avid fisherman and loved working in her yard. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, February 6, 2014 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Brother John Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern. The Binkley family will receive friends Wednesday, February5th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Gerhard Jerding, Jesse Jerding, Joseph Jerding, Ronnie Jerding, Hayden Binkley, Martyn Binkley James Adam Jerding and Ethan Binkley. She is survived by two daughters Glenda Jerding and husband Ron of Dyersburg, Judy Bates and ex-husband Gilliam of Dyersburg one son James W. Binkley of Dyersburg, four sisters Rosa Mae Patterson and husband Hank, Carolyn Frizzel and husband Odie, Jeanette Blansett, Shelia Sipes, two brothers Alfred "Bud" McIntosh, George McIntosh and wife Barbara, 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years James D. Binkley, one great-granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Jerding, one great-great-grandson Jamison Blanton, one sister Betty Margaret Grizaffi and her parents William Basil and Annie Rebecca Doss McIntosh.
