Darles Marie Jenkins, 79, of Dyersburg died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at her residence. She was retired from GTE Sylvania. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, February 27, 2014 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 26th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home. She is survived by her son Lewis Franklin Jenkins, Jr. and wife Jane of Northlake, IL, 2 sisters Gaylon Davis and husband Bobby, Vickie Jones and husband Robert, both of Dyersburg, 2 grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Franklin Jenkins, her son, David Noel Jenkins, 1 sister Helen Rowland and 2 brothers William Permenter, Donal Permenter and her parents Buford and Nettie Permenter.
