Nancy Jones Petty

Nancy Jones Petty, 57, of Dyersburg died Monday, March 31, 2014 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a lifetime member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, member of New Vision Sunday School class and Daystar Circle and active in the church Logas program. Nancy was a 1975 graduate of Dyersburg High School and a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She was an avid supporter of her children's sports teams. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, April 3, 2014 at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Larry Blakeburn and Rev. Annetta Camp officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Edwards, Charles Dawson, John Ford, Mark Jamison, Cal Johnson and Mike Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Daystar Circle. The Petty family will receive friends Wednesday, April 2nd from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the church and Thursday from 12 Noon until service time in the church parlor. She is survived by her husband Ricky Petty, her daughter Alison Petty and her son Kevin Petty and wife Sam, all of Dyersburg, her sister Debbie Callahan of Memphis and her brother Perry Jones of Dyersburg. She was preceded in death by her parents Perry and Judy Jones. The family requests memorials be directed to First Cumberland Presbyterian Church Benevolence Fund.
