Theresa Rhea Patrick

Theresa Rhea Patrick, 89, of Dyersburg died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Maple Ridge Assisted Living. Born November 24, 1924 to Peter C. and Tommie F. Rhea, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church and former billing manager of Rhea Wholesale. She was a retired teacher at Dyersburg High School, member of D.A.R., Book Club, ADK Teachers Sorority and a Chi Omega Alumni. She was also an avid bridge player. Funeral services for Mrs. Patrick will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in the Chapel of the First United Methodist Church with Dr. David Russell and Dr. Angela Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 20th from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at the funeral home. She is survived by her daughter Sara Patrick Danley of Dyersburg, her son Robert Rhea Patrick of Blairville, GA, two sisters Nancy Ritchie and Fran Wood, both of Knoxville, four grandchildren, Angela Patrick Harris, Jeanette Patrick, Jennifer Danley Wheeler and James Patrick Danley. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Solan Patrick in 2002 and her sister Dixie Colleen Jenkins.
