Mary Butler

Mary Butler, 77, of Ridgely, died Monday, June 30, 2014 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. Born April 5, 1937 to Walter and Nancy Blakley Gray, she was a Baptist. Funeral services for Mrs. Butler will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend David Gray. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 1st from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. She is survived by 2 daughters, Nancy Clark of Ridgely, Cynthia Boone of Dresden, 3 sisters Frances Scott of Crockett Mills, Helen Fisher of Martin, Janie Gray of Dyersburg, 1 brother Calvin Gray of Ridgely, 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Butler, her son Ray Gray Butler, 2 daughters Cathy Gray, Lori Ann Gray, 1 sister Katherine Crum and 3 brothers Sammy Gray, Marshall Gray and R.E Carnell.
