Donnie Shelton, 60, of Friendship, died Monday, October 20, 2014 at his residence. He was retired from Picsweet. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery conducted by Reverend Larry Koonce. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He is survived by his son Rodney Shelton (Kathleen) of Halls; his daughter Stacy Balentine of Friendship; two sisters Ollie Martindale and Shirry Balentine of Friendship; his twin brother Ronnie Shelton of Friendship; and four grandchildren Rodrick Shelton, Carson Balentine, Carter Balentine and Jaime Stinnett. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles A. Shelton and Virginia Jackson McKnight; one sister Barbara Shelton and three brothers James Franklin Cross, Doyle Wayne Shelton and Billy Wayne McKnight.
