Raymond B. Rice

Raymond Rice, 78, of Dyersburg died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. He was born September 19, 1936 to the late Van and Helen Criswell Rice. He was a retired Air Force Staff Sergeant and former employee at Colonial Rubber. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2014 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Elder Fate Britt. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Monday, December 1st beginning at 2:00 p.m. until service time. He is survived by his wife Peggy Rice of Dyersburg, his daughter Susan Quick of Ft. Myers, FL, 2 brothers Dwayne Rice and Charles Rice, both of Dyersburg, 1 granddaughter Heather Dexter (Travis) of Venice, FL and 3 great-grandchildren, Alex, Elijah and Creighton Dexter, all of Venice, FL and his beloved and faithful dog, Pete.
