Howard C. Stoneburner, 69, of Dyersburg died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Jackson, Tennessee to the late James Richard and Laura Miller Stoneburner. He was retired from AT & T and an avid golfer. Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Freemont Cemetery in Obion County with Reverend Carl Thomas Southerland conducting the services. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm, Friday, December 26, 2014 at Curry Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Linda Manns Stoneburner of Dyersburg; 2 sons, Jeffrey Stoneburner of Dyersburg and Daryle Stoneburner of Katy, TX; 2 sisters, Mary Elizabeth Holland of Michigan and Rosie Mae Smyth of Union City; 3 brothers, Tom Stoneburner of Ridgely, Robert Stoneburner, of Bells and Paul Stoneburner of Scotts Hill, TN; and 3 grandchildren, Zachary, Zane and Joshua Stoneburner. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Richard and Laura Miller Stoneburner; 1 sister, Sara Frances Marlin; and 2 brothers, Herman Stoneburner and James Stoneburner.
