May A. Dill, 87, of Trenton, TN, formerly of Dyersburg, died March 11, 2015, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. She was born November 2, 1927 to the late William A. and Maudie G. Childress Permenter. She was an LPN at Gibson County Hospital and Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Milan. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 15, 2015, at the Permenter Family Cemetery at McCullough's Chapel. Services will be conducted by James Ferguson. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Jeanette Nelson (Harold) of Milan, Theresa Valdivia (Danny) of Rockvale; 1 son, James E. Ferguson of Parsons; 2 sisters, Sandra Rigsby of Finley, Bobbye Hicks of Dyersburg; 1 brother, Jimmy Permenter of Hawkin, TX; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granchild. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Steven Ferguson, David L. Ferguson; and her husband, James Edmond Ferguson.
